If you are looking for a wonderful experience with personal owners who delight in making your vacation special, then our home is for you. We aren’t big property owners with generic accommodations and bare minimums, it is truly our desire to provide a wonderful property for your friends and family to create memories to last a lifetime. We have made every effort to supply as many amenities as possible to help you relax and enjoy the property or explore our area to the fullest without having to pack much more than your bathing suits.
Our home Reel Treasure St Augustine, is a canal front home with solar heated pool and hot tub. Just two blocks, .3 miles from the beautiful and spacious Butler Beach.
Our community has a private beach access within walking/biking distance (.3 miles) or you can drive on the beach and pick your spot. Cooking is wonderful in our fully updated kitchen or enjoy many of the wonderful local restaurants of the area.
Enjoy watching beautiful sunsets on either of two decks or while relaxing in the hot tub while being on one of the very few canals in St Augustine.
Our home is a wonderful place for a family vacation.
There is always something to do for those that want to be "going and doing".....pool, fishing, kayaking, beach very close, Old Town, etc while lots of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
We also have a drive on dock for those that would like to bring your own boat or rent a boat for a day or a week. Our canal leads directly out to the ICW where the opportunities are endless. Cruise and enjoy the sights, great fishing, boat and tie up for lunch at Old Town, boating to surrounding towns etc. (Boat length limited to 20 feet. Please consult with us before planning to bring or rent a boat so we can advise on best size, maneuverability, which dock to park on etc.)

We love families and our home is wonderful for families with older children with all the great amenities inside as well as right outside the front and back doors. However It is not optimal for families with young children as it is not childproofed and the pool and canal are right outside the back door. Please contact us through an inquiry or an email to discuss whether or not Reel Treasure will be a good fit for your family before requesting to book.
We are in a residential community and we love and respect our neighbors.
Our home is not for you if you want to party late into the night and want a place where noise is not an issue. Having a good drink and laughs in the spa or by the fire pit or quiet swimming and family fun in the later evening is absolutely fun and welcome but we are not a good location for loud parties etc.
Only guests on the reservation are permitted on the property at anytime unless prior approval. Immediate cancellation without refund for not adhering to this policy. We take this very seriously for your safety, our neighbors' comfort and safety, and insurance purposes.
Required: $1500 refundable damage deposit, signed rental agreement and Photo Id of primary renter, complete names of all adults on reservation, totaling no more than 8 people including any children.

Policies & Rules
Payment Schedule – 100% due at the time of booking
Damage Deposit – A pre-authorization of $1500 is due 2 days before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
Cancellation Policy –Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Forty-seven percent (47.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation.
We love communicating with our guests. To ensure nothing is missed or lost in translation, we are available via email or text. At time of booking, you will be required to read and sign a short-term rental agreement, provide a security deposit and provide a copy of a government issued ID for guest booking reservation. Once check out is complete, no damage is confirmed and it appears all house rules and check out procedures have been adhered to, your security deposit hold will be released. Please note that this may take up to 7 business days.
Due to same day arrival and departures, regretfully, we are unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We ask that you do not interrupt the cleaning crew as this will only delay your check-in. The cleaning crew is not authorized to allow anyone access to the property. Should you arrive to town early, there is plenty to do and see!
MUNICIPAL PHOTO ID REQUIREMENT
Must provide photo ID of primary renter within 48 hours of booking confirmation (per our municipal regulations) or reservation will be canceled.

Per our listing description, Required: $1500 refundable security deposit hold, Signed rental agreement and Photo Id of primary renter, complete names of all adults on reservation and number and ages of children under 18, totaling no more than 8 people including any children, all to be provided within 48 hrs of reservation confirmation. (You will supply this information when signing rental agreement).
(Security Deposit: we will place an automatic hold on your credit card 2 days prior to arrival and release 7 days after arrival if no charges withheld. )
SMOKING
NO SMOKING of any substance permitted in the house or on the premises. Immediate cancellation without refund for non-compliance or forfeiture of your security deposit as well as any other necessary fees to rid our home of odors and litter.
NO EXTRA GUESTS
For Insurance, liability purposes as well as local occupancy rules, only the guests on your reservation are allowed on the property at any time. This includes visitors during the day. We take this very seriously and your reservation will be immediately cancelled and no refunds given for non-compliance.
QUIET HOURS
10:00PM – 8:00AM
Our home is in a residential neighborhood so please be respectful of our neighbors and no loud music or loud talking after 10:00pm. We want you to have fun and enjoy our amenities, while still being good neighbors. Please just keep outdoor activities very low key after 10:00pm.
PETS
Pets are not permitted. $500 FEE and cancellation of your reservation without refund for bringing an unauthorized pet.
WIFI AND SECURITY CAMERAS
As mentioned in our listing we do have security cameras on the exterior only (front and rear) of our home as well as a security doorbell. The only one that has sound capability activated is the doorbell. We do not monitor these cameras after you have arrived except for safety purposes only and for ensuring adherence to our occupancy and house rules. Absolutely no cameras are anywhere inside the house. Turning off or manipulating the cameras, WiFi or security system will result in immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
BOATS
Boat length limited to 20 feet. Please consult with us before planning to bring or rent a boat so we can advise on best size, maneuverability, which dock to park on etc.
Use of boat docks, personal or rented boats are at your own risk.
Cancellation Policy:
Please review our cancellation policy as our calendar will be blocked once you make your reservation and as individual owners, we cannot afford to refund outside of our policy.
Guest receives 97% if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 47% if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival. The 3% not refunded to you is due to the payment processing fees charged at booking that are not refunded to us.
We are strongly recommending our guests purchase trip insurance due to the fluid nature of the Covid situation as well as Florida’s quirky but wonderful weather. Most policies require you purchase within a certain timeframe of making your reservation. (CFAR type insurance is the most inclusive “cancel for any reason”)
You will be offered to purchase trip insurance after your reservation is complete by our channel manager which you can accept or decline and you are also welcome to shop around and purchase elsewhere. The travel insurance offered is from a third party insurer and is in no way recommended, affiliated with or provided by us.
We can not give a refund for Covid, other illness, funerals, bad weather and any other unexpected occurrence that are out of both of our control, therefore we strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance.
*** Hurricane season is June-November every year. We especially encourage purchasing travel insurance for your trip if your reservation falls within these dates as we can only refund if there is an official, mandatory evacuation (not a state of emergency) called for the island. ***
