Beaches

There are 3 options for getting to the beach:

Walking:

The community walkway is .3 miles from the house.

Walk down Costanero to Treasure Beach Rd to A1A. Follow sidewalk slightly to left and community walkway is directly across the street.

Drive and Park off beach:

Go to “Butler Beach area” on this map and the yellow star ⭐️ indicates where you can drive and park off beach. There is one about 1/4 mile after turning left onto A1A. Sometimes they will close certain parking areas so simply use the map to go to the next closest one.

Drive on and park on the beach (our favorite when carrying a bunch of beach gear coolers etc). *4 wheel drive strongly recommended *

Again use map above. Drive on where there is a blue dot 🔵 , find a place in the parking lineup that you like, park, unload chairs and relax on the beach. When you are done, simply drive to the next blue dot to the south and exit. It’s very organized and very easy.

Drive on beach pass is $10 March-September. I recommend downloading this app for your visit for live information:

Fishing

Our favorite place to fish is matanzas point and swimming/wading is awesome there for young ones. It’s absolutely beautiful and right down the road if you like things like this.

Take beach chairs, book and cooler and you’ll be in heaven.

My bubbler (aerator) is there if y’all want to stop and get a few live shrimp on your way. I caught this beauty there with my pink rod😍

Sit and fish where the x are. It is breathtaking there if not too crowded.

Stop at Genungs for live shrimp and feel free to use my bubbler. This location is best to visit during the week as the bigger crowds are there on the weekends.
